Earth day event
On Saturday April 24 the Friends of the Lawrence Nature Center observed Earth Day with special activities, demonstrations, hikes and exhibitors. During the afternoons activities The Lawrence Nature Center was recognized for their commitment to be a Chemical Free Lawn.
Summer Family Nights
Each Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm from July 6 through August 31 the Friends of the Lawrence Nature Center will host a program for families of all ages. The attached flyer provides more details of the weekly progams.
Sourland Mountain Preserve Hike
Led by Naturalist Rick Dutko of the Friends of the Lawrence Nature Center more than 40 enthusiasts hiked the Sourland Nature Preserve on Saturday May 22.
